| Sure, do an inclining experiment of the model. Assuming you have it instrumented to give you the angle of heel, this is a simple matter. However, as others have said, for static stability considerations, calculations are a more efficient way to go.

| I did extract the result experimentally, .... by heeling the vessel attached to fixed lever about the centre of gravity. This makes sure that the same displacement is kept at all times. The results are satisfactory. Thanks all for your help |
