center of pressure

Hi everybody
I want to calculate center of pressure of a pllaning boat. I saw savitsky's formula but I want drive it directly then use Lp/Landa*B=0.75..... for calculating lenght/breath wetted ration. Is there any emprical formula and other refrences?

I'm not sure if this is what you say you already have, but:
Cp = 0.75-1/(((5.236Cv^2)/(lamda^2))+2.40)
where Cv and lamda are as per Savitsky.
Remember that this is only an approximation though!
