Okay, plywood then. I would think the Platt Monfort would be better starting point then, as it is of narrower chines. If you use thick plywood, it will be easier to bend.
Do you plan to use outboard or built-in motor? The motor is how much power, physical size and weight?
I would recommend to use 2.50m beam, as 2.55 is the EU trailer limit, and wider boat means better stability. Or do you have a specific reason for 2.1m beam?
Are the parameters you have given are actual parameters of a boat or you just specified what you want? I have a hard time to get a consistent picture out of them.
Tell me more about the intended usage. How many people usually and maximally on board, how long journeys both in time and distance. Should I imagine some serious professional fishing (the film The Perfect Storm comes to mind, or just a leisure "we catch less fish than beer in nice weather" type session?

I have drawn a sketch of outside.
What do you think?

I have realized that the Monfort hull - albeit have nice classical lines - may not be adequate for a motorboat. So I redesigned the stern.
Here is a drawing for the hull only (not to size yet), and the linesplan for the previous one for reference.
I have just came home from a holiday, I need some time for acclimatization.
So this is just a quick update to show I did not forget the project.

I would appreciate any comparison on stability and planning properties of the two hullform.

I have opened a new thread so we do not completely hijack this one: Is it stable enough for a powerboat?
Vazer, please comment there. What thickness plywood do you have?
