volvo penta out drive

    Hi I am new to this. can any one tell me want drives the potentiometer . What makes the gear over the steering helmt turn I am replaceing th steering fork and the helmet. I dont see any thing that go to the gear .Thanks

    There is supposed to be a bar with teeth screwed on the top of the helmet.

    Thanks for the reply Gonzo I found the part .I had to replace the forkAnd the helmet all was gone.I didnt know how to do the job but with help from the guy at the part store I got it done. Thanks for your reply and time
