We are a national search firm specializing in IT, Operations, and Professional Services (www.franklincareers.com). One of our clients, a $14 billion global leader, has openings for Marine Applications Engineers in Seattle, Washington and Charleston, South Carolina. We are offering a generous referral fee of $1K* should our client hire someone that you recommend to us.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

Essential Functions

• Provide technical support to OEM's, dealers, and end customers
• Coordinate with industry manufacturers to develop systems engineering solutions to problems involving engine applications
• Support new product introduction initiatives
• Provide service engineering support for product issues (warranty/policy cost reduction)
• Provide technical input into customer support materials

Skills/Qualifications Requirements

• B. S. Engineering—ME, EE, Marine Engineering, or other related discipline
• Knowledge of engine, engine systems, and electronic controls
• Experienced with new product development
• Working knowledge of problem solving tools (7 Step, FMEA, Failure Reporting, etc.)
• Proficiency with computers and common software programs
• Previous marine industry experience a plus
