Thermoform / Vacuform Technician Needed in San Diego, CA

Rapid turn-around Manufacturing Shop with Zero Tolerance is seeking an EXPERIENCED Thermoform / Vacuform Technician . The right candidate will be artistic, reliable, and creative, read and understand measurements and diagrams.


Candidate MUST have experience with Plastic Thermo/Vacuform Technique



Major Functions and Responsibilities:
• Prepare Molds for Vacuform Molding
• Perform preventative maintenance



Skills and Experience:

• Experience in constructing and maintaining molds for Vacuform.
• Must have a basic knowledge of machine shop equipment.
• Excellent abilities in inspecting and evaluating the quality of products.
• Ability to work in a fast moving environment, driven by deadlines.
• Must be able to adhere to the rules of a zero-tolerance shop.
• Possess exceptional attention to detail.
• Willing to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn procedures quickly.

Sorry. I know this is a serious job post, but the timing was just too funny with me having botched the thermoforming of 1" A600 Corecell yesterday.

I don't mean any offense.
