Student Work Placement in Dominican Republic

Spice Catamarans are interested in providing a 1-3 month work placement for a currently studying or recently qualified naval architecture/marine engineer student to help us develop our business. The company is based in the Dominican Republic and builds 31', 36' and 42' catamarans for the tourism industry.

During your placement you would work closely with the owner of the company and designer of the vessels, Luc Guessard. The core of your work will be CAD based, and candidates must demonstrate excellent CAD skills. In addition you will also gain valuable insight into the boat building industry in a unique environment.

Terms and Conditions are negotiable, but we stress that due to financial constraints this position will be of specific interest to students wishing to build their portfolio.

Please make any enquiries to spicecatamarans@gmail.com.
