Milling of fats 9m stepped hull As you know, I would need to look at the design first to give a proper quote. The price will be around R100000. factors that play a role. If I need to do any design work. Kobus

Unusual or speciality RIBS I saw a lot of thumbnail photos of your work on your website, but I couldn't enlarge any of them. Do you have a few shots of some unusual or speciality RIB designs you might send me, either thru attachments here or privately? I have a 'slightly different' design project in mind, but no funding for it at the moment. Thought I might pass it by you for a look-see and opinion if you have the time. It appears as though you have been involved with this RIB subject for a long time. I have not. I did own a Zodiac dealership back in the early 80's along with a catamaran distributorship based out of Annaplois MD. We dealt a little with some military sales as they needed a dealership to push thru some military sales at the time.

RIB design Yes, RIBs has been my game for the past 20 years. I started at a young age being the first RIB manufacturer in South Africa, raced them all over and then desided to take up Naval Architecture. Now the best part is to design and use my 5 AXIS to mill the plugs and let the my clients worry about the rest. I have designed boats for various international organization which include Zodiac International, Turkish CoastGuard, Indian Coastal, SA navy e.g Im not sure whether you want to go Leisure or military but I have done both. Attached some renderings. I dnt have a lot on my laptop and will send some better designs on Monday.

NanoXcel Hull Material Issue Date: 9/7/2007 Yamaha introduces 'more agile' building material Yamaha Motor Corp. USA unveiled its line of personal watercraft hulls, decks and liners manufactured with a proprietary nano-engineered material called NanoXcel. The material is designed to increase performance by decreasing weight by 25 percent, said the company. Yamaha introduced the NanoXcel hulls, decks and liners on its new SHO and HO WaveRunners during opening ceremonies of the company's worldwide dealer conference last month in Sandestin, Fla. Yamaha uses a high-compression molded process to create its personal watercraft hulls, decks and liners. This process enables the creation of a range of new technologies, including the exclusive nanotechnology formula. Yamaha says this marks a significant evolution in hull and deck construction in decades, and begins a new era of technological advancements aimed at meeting the comfort and performance characteristics. "Consumers will instantly be able to feel the difference provided by NanoXcel,” Mark Speaks, president of Yamaha Watercraft Group, said in a statement. “The lighter weight material, with its remarkably smooth finish, is more nimble and agile in the water than anything else we've sold.” For 2008, Yamaha models that feature NanoXcel hulls, decks and liners include the all-new Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO, FX SHO and Yamaha's High Output models.
