Job responsibilites
To lead a team of 3 draughtsmen, and reporting to the Chief Ops Officer/Project Manager , the Exterior Designer will coordinate al;la spects of modern design and construction to actual shop drawing details.
candidate must be familiar with latest materials-wood/alloys/stainless and mild steel,welding,fastening,different composites being considered in Marine Environment.Proven exp of at least 8 yrs in designing of super luxury yatch's, and traditional methods associated with Marine exterior Detailing is mandatory.
Generating 3d images/designs with rendering,that will include surface finish coordinations and ability to lead and guide a team of senior exterior designers
Items to be detailed -
Furniture design :
Interface with arrangements,coordinating with styling with interior designers,lighting coordination with furniture layouts,securing storage etc..
Bar Arrangements :
Lighting,Electrical systems integration,interior styling
Staircase design :
Construction details,handrails detailings,lighting details.
Ceiling Panels :
Mounting arrangements,access arrangements,geometric layouts and design,base pool exterior,furniture and staircases.
Mooring and Anchoring design co ordinations,Loose and protective covers, and schedules of exterior equipment -dining etc ...
