Production Manager Needed in Astoria, Oregon

    We are the private non US customers building a 65 feet power Catamaran in Astoria, Oregon. We are looking for a Power Boat Production Manager to be our rep and coordinator in the local boat builder company Pacific Expedition - http://www.pacificexpedition.com/pe60.htm to finish it till spring 2012.

    Requirements
    • At least 5 years experience in the yacht building production for an international company.
    • Leading a team of workers on the production side
    • Strong knowledge of modern building designs
    • Strong technique of boat building
    • An independent thinker with great leading skills.
    • An eye for quality is essential.
    • Satisfying the customers’ demands.
    • Must be willing to re-locate to Astoria Oregon for 3-4 month.

    Gleb, they are building 44' cat from us in same yard; is it still there?

    Seems so, but they are deadly slow. I was there only in March. I could ask my friend, who was there recently.

    Right, if built here, it would be on water already. But this is Customer's decision.
