I am currently looking for a company or individuals interested in producing (manufacturing) an established range of innovative sportfishers 40-98ft.

The designs have been produced on a custom basis so far and all information re labour and material contents would be made available. Also my services can be secured to assist in the set up and manufacturing process, for a period of time suitable to any prospective manufacturer.

My wish is to see these designs produced for the international market and achieve the recognition they deserve.

Nautic Marine has been established for just over 10 years.

It has been responsible for the development of numerous designs for commercial and pleasure vessels in New Zealand. It has been involved in the construction of the boats designed. These are now in commercial use in New Zealand, and the owners, mainly commercial operators, have expressed complete satisfaction with these vessels. The boat size ranges from 20ft – 98ft.

The company’s design and products are clearly of a high standard, which has been developed by Arch McTainsh. Arch is the Managing Director of the Company, and is a former student of the Westlawn School of Yacht Design, Connecticut USA. He has twenty years of experience in custom timber and GRP boats in Australia and New Zealand.

Nautic’s philosophy is to produce sportfishing craft that are aesthetically pleasing, craft with such qualities will be sure to age gracefully and retain a classic elegance. Nautic designs feature a wider hull form to afford generous accommodations and high performance.

Business visits to the USA and ongoing communication with brokers, particularly in Florida has created the belief that the style and type of boat produced and/or designed would ideally fill a niche market within the 40ft -45ft range of sportfishers in the USA. The largest Nautic design is the 98ft Long Range Sportfisher.
