Hello-
I went to the joblistings, then hunted down the employers sites from their job listings-
at Proboat, it seemed they wanted a bit more personal information than I wanted to let go for no apparant reason other than to view a joblisting through their site.
Last year, I moved across country on the strength of an online job, and a few phone calls- leaving familiar surroundings for a specific promised wage, and purchased a home within a comfortable commute.
The job was not as described, the wages were not as described.

To those of You looking for work far from home, please be careful.
I spent My savings on the closing for the house here, and the travel across country, the interim expenses, and leaving My two six foot bandsaws and a variety of other tools behind, gifted to friends, because they were just too much to pack, load and haul, along with the household goods and hand tools.

My point is, there are some very good pitches which may not be representing the facts about themselves. The one I tangled with is still "seeking employees activly".
I fully realize, for the employers, this may be a two way street, as well.

For those of Us who do take our word seriously, it is not a sweet surprise when lip service to ethics and integrity fall shy of reality or a genuine interest in either.

Please utilize due care in making and accepting agreements and contracts.
