Navel Architecture/Engineering Companies/Firms in North East

I am currently job prospecting and am looking for any Navel Architecture / Engineering Firms in the North East (US). Basically anything within the marine industry. Anybody know of any???

Yes, Fnv90, it's "naval" as in marine, not "navel" as in belly button. You can find job postings in Maritime Reporter magazine and other associated magazines at: http://www.marinelink.com/. You can also try Professional Boatbuilder magazine which has job listings in the back: http://www.proboat.com/. You'll notice in these magazines that various design firms, boat builders, and shipyards all have their own advertisements in them, and they are all open to looking at new hires through their human resources departments. Also, you will find a number of head hunters that specialize in technical fields including naval architecture and marine engineering. Don't forget to network on LinkedIn or on Facebook which can be a valuable resources for finding connections to employers.

I've always found the best results just come from applying to places that interest you. Most jobs aren't posted and by the time a job ad does show up companies can get so inundated with applications that it can be hard to stand out.
