naval architect student...

hello everybody...im going to start my course in naval architecture( advance diploma) in australia next july...im wondering if any body wants me to do a part time job in some naval facilities to get some experience?
Of course i dont have to much experience now, but im really looking forward to improve myself in this industry; so wats better than look and help someone at the begining of my career?
