Company Background
• Growing small business (about 50 people) focused on providing their clients (primarily NOAA AND NAVSEA) with innovative solutions in the areas of program management, shipbuilding, marine engineering, systems engineering and software development services.

Job Description/Daily Tasks:

• Marine Engineer/Naval Architect – Provide technical support for current and emerging NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) work under various support contracts. Independently review, assess and resolve technical issues. Perform ship and ship system design reviews, tradeoff studies, engineering analyses, and other technical and programmatic functions as required.
Qualifications:
1. B.S. in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
2. 5-10 years experience
3. Familiarization with USCG/ABS regulations
4. U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain SECRET required

Desired experience:
1. Military Sealift Command (MSC)
2. PMP Certificaiton
3. Masters in engineering or MBA

May sound good benefits to somone in the US, but asking for those qualifications etc one can get much more money (even more so with poor £/$ rate) and far more holidays in Europe.
