    Required by Southampton based Palmer Johnson Yacht Design office engaged in a variety of large aluminium high speed, luxury motor yacht projects.

    The successful candidate will be qulaified to degree level or equivalent and working towards Chartered Engineer Status, with some practical knowledge of luxury motor yachts and an appreciation of the classification and regulatory environments.

    Experience with 3D cad is important as is the ability to work with Solidworks, Rhino and Macsurf. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of technical specifications, contributing towards design development, plan approval and at times visit the shipyard during construction and commissioning. Overseas travelling occasionally involved.

    Working within a small team you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of marine design.

    Salary: £30000-40000
