Marine Engineer

Required by Southampton based Palmer Johnson Yacht Design office engaged in a variety of large aluminium high speed, luxury motor yacht projects.

The successful candidate will a chartered engineer or working towards CEng with practical experience and knowledge of luxury high speed motor yachts and familiarity with the classification and regulatory environments.

You will be responsible for preparation of technical specifications, design development, plan approval and occasional visits to the shipyard and/or suppliers during construction and commissioning, with overseas travelling occasionally involved. You must be capable of working within a small team.

Experience with 3D cad is important as is the ability to work with Solidworks, Rhino and Macsurf.
