Looking for Production Boat Manufacturer

Hi,

I'm an American presently living in Taiwan. I am looking for a fiberglass builder to manufacture multiple 19 foot coastal/ocean sailboats. The design is currently being worked out.

The builder can be anywhere in the world. I will be looking for, of course, the right balance of knowledge, quality, reliability, labor costs, and shipping costs primarily to the US.

You can reply via this thread or email me directly at daa@Global-Sail.com

Thanks,

David A Allen

Taiwan is one of the centers of boat building. Just look around. Here's a link.

Ike,

I've been living in Taiwan for two and a half years, and I'm aware of what goes on in Taiwan.

Thanks,

David

The Right Place

Hi,

I know well some big qualified fiberglass builders in Shenyang, China. I think you can get excellent balance of knowledge, especially in quality, reliability, labor costs there. But I'm not sure the shipping costs primarily to US.

I think it's the right place. If you are interested in there, I can show you the contacts.
