| Seeking position as a Naval Architects Apprentice Seeking position as a Naval Architects Apprentice (DFW or Huston area) Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Prescott Az. ’98 2 years drafting experience (high school) 9+ years cad experience (high school, collage & current position) in both 2D & 3D using CadKey, AutoCad, BentlyMicrostation. Excel, Word & Fortan experiance Passed the Engineer In Training exam ’98. Worked as a Ballistic Test Engineer, Co-Op '97. Duties included testing and data collection for a hydro-dynamically stable 20mm projectile. Have (and currently) worked for a major airline as an Aircraft Structures Engineer for the past three years. Job duties include repair design and static strength analysis of repairs. Primarily deal with metal repairs (aluminum, steel and titanium) but work with composite repairs also (fiberglass/ honeycomb and metal/honeycomb). Have been independently studying yacht design for the past year. Would like to eventually work as a naval architect full time. Live in Arlington Texas |
