We are currently interviewing for boatbuilding positions in Brazil at a new facility in the Northeast of the country.

Advantages of living in Brazil include low cost of living, constant climate, North American/European owned and operated company, and a wonderful country to live in.

Looking for adventurous people that are easy to work with as well as creative with ideas and their hands - who want to help carve a new industry in a new country.

Portuguese speaking an advantage - but not a necessity. Willingness to learn is imperative.

Brazil has a lot of government incentives, the infrastructure, and an intelligent labour force that can be cross-trained or retrained in the art of yacht construction.

I have worked like Dock Master on one of the biggest floating docks in the world,having a 80 000 tf. capacity. I have lifted ships like Infinity of the Sea, Voyager of the Sea,etc.
Here I had the same responsibilities like the docks in Romania,but moreover I have supervised the activity of the riggers and scafolders. I have calculated form and level for docking soupports, planning position for all soupports.


1990 - 2001 Cape Midia Shipyard
Senior-Dock Master + Naval Architect
this period,because I had also a licence of deck officer I have worked like Dock Master on floating docks. . I have calculated form and level for docking soupports, planning position for all soupports.
I have co-ordinated all activity for the arrangement of the docking support, entering the vessel into the floating dock,arrangement the position of the vessel and riseing the floating dock together with the vessel.Every day I supervised the activities of the assigned personnel involved in mechanical installations,maintenance,repairs, including valvs and pipe installations.
Checking safety equipment and determining priorities.
I planned maintenance programs and repair works.
I prepared all personnel for any danger that could appear and safety measures that should be taken.I prepared prevention rules at the fire installations.

1987 - 1990 Cape Midia Shipyard

In this period I have worked like manager of Marketing Department where I have lead the publicity,testing of market,programming and evaluating the ship repairs contract. I have made graphics with the periods of reparation the ships in order to make the activity profitable. I colaborated very good with the Romanian Naval Register (R.N.R.),the Loyd Register..

1985 - 1987 Constantza Shipyard

Yard co-ordination of all involved in new buildings of the seagoing ships and inland wessels. Consulting the ship owners regarding repairs or modifications.In this period I have worked like supervisor in the montage SUPERSTRUCTURE of new constructions on dry docks.Consulting the ship owners regarding repairs or modifications.I have introduced new installations and procedures for welding carbon steel and stainlles steel.I colaborated with the Romanian Naval Register(R.N.R.)and Loyd Register.

1981 - 1984 Constantza Shipyard

In this period I have worked like PROJECT MANAGER at the correction of the execution SUPERSTRUCTURE projects of new ships and I estabilished the tehnological stages of production. Also I established the technological stages for montage of STRUCTURAL frames and SUPERSTRUCTURE. I have writed quality plans(Q.E and Q.C). I colaborated with Loyd Register.


1976 – 1980 Galati Shipyard

In this period I have co-ordinated the coupling activity of SUPERSTRUCTURE SECTIONS, pipe linne on premontage platforms and montage in drydocks.
I have co-ordinated the welding process and I had tested new installations for welding. I colaborated with the Romanian Naval Register(R.N.R.) and Loyd Register.








1971 - 1974 Constanta Shipyard

In this period I have worked in building SUPERSTRUCTURE SECTIONS of new ships and also pipe works in the repair of many typ ships.
All the works have been in the naval domain and proceeded with respecting
prevention and safety rules.

I have worked like General Manager.I have made mechanical repairs,piping works and welding works.
I have estabilished efficiently programs and strategies of development.
I have checked and supervised repairs at Diesel Engines,Wather pumps,Air Compressors,valvs and pipe lines.The moust important works have been the repair of shaft lines,propellers and pressure testing.Also I have tested all my asigned personnel in the welding domain
