Ive worked in Dubai. I was there years ago. I gotta warn you, there is just one thing that some people cant get on with and that is the heat.

Going to Spain is nothing like it, if you are overwieght you will have a hard time.

Les see how can I explain. You cant pick up a spanner or peice of steel thats lying outside, you will burn your hand.

Swimming pools are chilled.

To get in a car you open the door and dont touch any part of the car, reach in and start the engine and turn on the air con, close the door and come back in 15 minutes.

I saw so many people do 2 weeks and go home.

I have experience of a few boat builders returning home to Europe from Dubai having not been paid.... Most people seem to suggest being at least aware there is risk.
