Frosty - Need to point out an error in your statement

There is approx 15% of Australia's land mass that enjoys temp similar to Dubai.
Last year I was on a new build project at Al Jadaf Dry Docks, the yard office recorded 51c highest temps over the summer period with 88% humidity.
In Aus places like Lightning Ridge, Coober Pedi and the North West ranges in WA average 40-50c every year.

WA
46.1°C at Gascoyne Junction on the 4th Dec 08
46.1°C at Port Hedland Airport on the 10th Dec 08

NSW
IVANHOE 1/01/1959 45.6
19/11/1944 45.6

WILCANNIA 1/01/1957 44.1
30/11/1982 45.0

LAKE CARGELLIGO 1/01/1965 43.0
25/11/1997 43.5

CESSNOCK 1/01/1973 42.9
26/11/1997 43.0

COBAR 1/01/1962 42.6
25/11/1982 43.6

PARKES 1/01/1957 42.0
26/11/1997 44.0

....and thats just the suburbs, in the outback it gets better....

I thought the biggest in demand skill in Dubai is
car parking attendants for the all expats leaving their cars at the short stay at the airport...

Looks like gnab posted a job offer and then didn't answer to anyone. There seems to be a lot of bogus offers like that for the Middle East.

The original post by gnab was 2007, like you say probably bogus and why it keeps floating to the top.
I just this week finished with a UAE company and got ripped off badly in my final settlement.

The UAE laws are so bad they offer no real protection for expat consultants or employers against companys, its when the victim is a local is there any action.

I would not recomend working or consulting in Dubai or anywhere in UAE or ME to anyone.
