interior design work experience/work wanted

I graduate this year with a BSC(Hons) in yacht manufacturing and surveying, and am keen to go into either the interior design of yachts, or some kind of product design. With no experience in this field i understand that i will be stuck in the viscious circle of not being able to gain experience unless someone takes a chance on me. Can anyone shed any light on some companies that deal with this type of design within the marine industry? Preferably dealing with sailing boats, and preferably in the New Zealand area?

You might try Alloy Yachts http://www.alloyyachts.co.nz/index.html I've worked with those guys and they've built some fantastic boats.
