| Does anyone have experience in working in Thailand & contacts over there? Hi, I'am a experienced yacht designer and have worked on projects ranging from space planning for Paul Allens Octopus to project managment for a yacht development company designing and making moulds for high volume production builders. I'm German citizen but have worked for many years abroad. Currently I am naval architect for a 40m+ yacht project. Due to some very personal changes I am looking for a new job starting mid/ end 2008. I know it's early days, but still. One of the countries I am considering is Thailand. Other countries, like European countries & the US or South American are considered as well, as long one can work and live there as a woman without harrasment or the like. Does anyone know of companies over there, who might be willing to employ me at a reasonable rate in one of the following fields: -Yacht design (Naval architecture & 3D CAD with Maxsurf & Rhino 4, space planning with Microstation or ACAD, project managment) -Architecture (3D CAD & visualsation with Rhino4 & VRay or Flamingo) -Office managment (I speak fluently English, German and French & some Italian) Regards & thanks for any thoughts, Franziska Last edited by Franzi : 12-18-2007 at 04:08 PM. |

| Franziska, Longliner's right. You would be weclome here, and should have no problem working with those skills. You might consider: http://www.trinityyachts.com/employment.asp http://www.palmerjohnson.com/ http://www.browardmarine.com/ http://www.burgerboat.com/index.php?...line&Itemid=58 http://www.boatowners.com/yachts_listing.htm http://www.ussuperyacht.com/superyac...t_members.html I believe you would be welcome at any of the above yacht builders. Trinity is actively seeking designers to work in their new yard.
