Design Engineer needed for recreational fishing boat manufacturer in north central US. Will be responsible for overseeing mold building, designing new molds, designing assembly jigs and fixtures. This candidate must have extensive knowledge of fiberglass boat building; open molding and some closed molding would be helpful. This person must also be able to assist the tooling people on the floor if needed, prior experience on the floor is helpful. The right candidate must also know all ABYC, NMMA, and U.S. Coast Guard regulations for proper building techniques for boats from 17’ to 26’. We just purchased a company that builds 21’ to 26’ Hard Top fishing boats with stern drive power. All of the smaller boats are outboard power. Company offers a very nice benefits package which includes medical, dental, 401K, paid vacations and holidays, 125 flex spending. Job ID # 512-083
