| CAD design work? I am an avid sailboat/powerboat guy and work for an aerospace engineering company and am considering doing part-time CAD design work for powerboats. We take old-style blueprints and put them into a 3-D computer model format, solid modeling, etc, where you can take a 2-D, say, hull design, and make it 3-d, modifying whatever you want, and make it exact before you even build it. Does anyone think that this service would be used by smaller boatbuilders/racers? I think that this could save people a great deal of money and time in design/mods. Thanks, bbmonty@yahoo.com |
