and before we go to huge lengths to apply for these positions, what do you offer so one could possibly live to a standard befitting ones talents skills and intelligence
I have heard of skilled people being paid 11 an hour there?
In the considerable time I spent in UK, I came to the conclusion that trades people were rather looked down upon
If you could write to me, I could perhaps ring around contacts, do you need engineers? metal fabricators, project managers?
but I would need to know wage/salary rates
Cheers,

If you send a CV to someone you don't know, you can be giving out a lot of information about yourself. Not a very safe thing to do these days.

If you were sending it to a bona-fide company address you would have some legal protection.

The company is Green marine, based in Southampton and Lymington, www.greenmarine.co.uk. A Good company! Does a lot of various race yachts, volvo's, A/C, and more. Go as self employed, rate 15/16 an hour plus for experienced Composite lammy's. more for a 'Boatbuilder'. But think your right lazeyjack at maybe 10/11 an hour on the books.
