| and about those recruiters Just when we thought it safe to go out again...another kitchen table recruiter this time Sunkissed Group from the Sunshine coast of Australia (don't bother looking for website) seeking interiors people for Abu Dhabi based project to fit out a 141mt Dutch frigate conversion to yacht. In response to an applicant's query the respondant claimed he had never heard of Dubai based GL Interiors principle interior contractor to the same project he was advertizing for. Later in answer to another email from a different source he not only knew the Interiors company but had employed two managers previously with GL Interiors. I leave you to draw your own conclussion... |

Some staff may have previously worked for GL and for many other major international luxury boat builds. What's your point? |

| The point oi oi is recruiters need to be up front and not ******** applicants. I've seen way to many expats accept o'seas positions particularly in the middle east and get screwed. Recruiters have to accept responsibility and screen the background of companies seeking staff as do the bigger professional recruiters. Responsiblity is after all part of the package they get the big bucks for. Also neither Sunkissed nor any other contractor is mentioned on abudhabimar.com site plus I'm familiar with the project, I carried out bulkhead and pillar surveys on the 141 Swift for DNC. | recruiters i also have been dealing with The Sunkissed Group and they are are the most unprofessional recruitment agency I have ever dealt with. They have no website , it seems like they are operating out of a living room and when you check them out on Australian Business register , their "other" companies are golf course design , a wedding website and some game reserve. I find it hard to understand why a major luxury yacht builder would even be able to find a company like this. You make your own opinion. |

| keep it up swabbie having worked in composite construction in europe, mainly italy for the past five years, I have never encountered such a bunch (and unfortunately worked for one or two) of coyboys and any other dicipline. oweners of yachrbuilding companies that have NO personal experience whatsoever advertising and giving "expert" advise. It really is a joke... the coyboys and the yards that dont pay really need to be exposed for what they are. |
