yacht monitoring

I am trying to design an integrated system of yacht hull monitoring that could measure and analyze all seakeeping motions including porpoising and unstable rolling.I would like to enhance the system with the ability to calculate an indicate the optimum parameters (direction, leeway angle, trim, heeling angle , position of sail) when the yacht's course is windwards.

I would kindly request to post your ideas on this thread.
