Im not even sure CRF will let canting keels in the Spirit of Tradition class. I know they wont let on deck ballast, but we have so much weight on deck. Racks would not be allowed as we are racing other classic boats.

Classic movable ballast

Seems to me that some of the most classic racing boats in history used things like big versions of sliding seats and various forms of ballast lugged side to side by hand....

i dont make the rules though. I actually wanted to make it with on deck ballast but was told that wouldnt be allowed.
