Where do i put the sail and lee board?

    Put it wherever you want. If it doesn't work, you'll change it soon enough. Slightly shorter sprit is maybe stronger.

    No higher than half the height of luff (front edge) of sail.

    Alright thats what i thought.

    Btw, I hope that you and the other posters dont feel like i ignored your suggestions of a nicer (more proven) boat. I would enjoy to build a much nicer boat, and i know that they would be a better option. But as im only going to be sailing once or twice for a few hours every so often, i cant justify putting that much more money and effort into the project. Also, if we were to build a bigger boat there wouldnt be a need for two of them and sailing together/having fun is kind of our goal right now.

    In the future i will most certainly build a much nicer boat, but for now these are little more than a swimming pool toy.
