It is a Buccaneer indeed. I believe you might find the moulds in the UK where all the moulds finally are going: sorry, can't remember the name all in a sudden. come back to you.

I beg to differ - that there bathtub is NOT a Buccaneer (the only monohull so called being a nice little van de Stadt design) but a BUCKLER. They started around '73, and were about the fugliest things I ever saw afloat with my own two eyes (that were sail-powered, anyway )Buckler Boat Company, 1 Bryanston Avenue Guildford, Surrey, UK

I'm sure you are right, but i believed the buckler was 23ish feet long as seen her in this link, http://www.caleyboats.co.uk/graphics...es/Buckler.jpg I thought they made a bigger one, Buckler Buccaneer??? Maybe this is someone who has tried, and succeeded may i add, to destroy a perfectly good Colvic or some such. those windows dont look "factory fitted" to me?

| haha, good answer Bergalia. Unfortunately i am already in the UK, and see quite a few of those, just have to close your eyes for a while. My father is doing some surveying on this boat and suspect that the builder is not the one that is written of the papers. So i am helping a bit.

That boat is an 33 ft Atlantic Clipper, the hull was designed by Maurice Griffiths and was built by Phillips shipyard of Dartmouth England in the 1970's & early eighties. Phillips put their own lid on it but who designed that bit i dont know. They were centreboarders drawing about 3' 6" with plate up. I did a lot of work on a late one and it was very lightly built. After Phillips went bust the moulds were aquired by Barbican yachts of Plymouth who put a conventional superstructure on it and built quite a few, As far as i know they are still going.
