    when I watch these videos I feel like crying

    I still just cannot understand why there was no warning from race control or the other boats, the fact that NOBODY saw this coming worries the daylights out of me.

    Really ? in this day and age ?
    And yes it hurts.

    Hard to understand how this could happen with all the modern navigation technology they have available. I suppose that the racing mentality, the speed of the boats and probably fatigue are big factors. I reckon most cruising sailors stay far from shallow waters if they are crossing an ocean. Glad they are all ok.
