Maybe you need a small outboard and a handgun to "level the
playing field" (pun originally not intentional).

BTW, I hear Montana is very nice this time of year.

Well if the last 2 orders are correct the TP 52 class is now at 30+. As I raced with some of Illbrook boys I know at least one is in the shed now.

Frank - care to revise your "less than 20" estimate as it is only September and the class has passed 30 boats?

Well RC can save even a bathtub fleet. He isn't paid the big bucks for nothing. No I am standing pat. The TP52 class looses boats as well as gains them. Here is my theory on that distilled from Bethwaite design phylosophy

Sailing for comfort can not be defined except that it is in between sailing for speed where capsize is acceptable and sailing for survival which maximizes control and stability for the preservation of equipment and supplies aboard.

pg 281
High Performance Sailing

So what happed with the TP52s is that in requiring a silly LPS. - One so high that no amount of wind would be capable of capsizing the vessel - the box rule designers doomed the class to a status of training vessel.

I can hardly watch the news on Pakistan. Our lives are so fragile. Best wishes to the earthquake victems.

The individual responsible for the Sailing Anarchy hack yesterday is a terrorist by definition. Shame to him/her but let the forum operators learn. This is not the first hack as we all know from the day the Church of FOYD was burned there.

Oh Sailsmall. I have already accepted nominations for board membership at a sailing society and so serve. The issue is that those nominating expect favors for doing so. This is why I prefer the write in method of election. Thanks for the kind words in any case. 40 pages of secrets. 40 the number of death. Well Happy Halloween Skull and Bones. Hope to see some of you tonight at SSSS.

There is no reason for you to thank me. My thoughts about you are far from kind.

Admit it Frank - you were BANNED.

First off, you do not serve on the SSSS board. Your term as secretary ended last June and you were not a candidate for re-election. Second, our bylaws make no provision for wrire-in candidates. Even if you were to be so elected (highly doubtful), it would be invalid.

As for SSSS being a Seattle corporation, this comes as interesting news. The only way this could have happened is if, as secretary, you changed the Society's legal address without board consent. SSSS sponsors no activities north of The Narrows and holds all of its meetings in Olympia.

Modern terminology for a 7th grader perhaps.

Quite so. But it seems that Mr. Mighetto has the tenacity of a child who knows that he is wrong but wishes to prove his point.

Oh give it a rest will you. I have not been wrong with any of my predictions about sailing. That is a seven year record. Of course I have been wrong on other points. I am not God. Oh My God.

See you tomorrow at the seminar if you are so inclined. My new UK sail is being measured prior to the seminar. J dock if you are interested. SSSS and Comodore Decker are about to rock the sailing world. You wait and see. I have enough faith in him and those who know what is needed to procede with confidence. In the mean time, this mayorial race in Seattle has the Skull and Bones affiliated chatting even in Phoenix Arizona.

We sent off another fine fellow to Bagdad today. Another reason to drink Butface at Rams Sports bar. But I have interesting news. The current US administration doesn't have the time or inclination to monitor the Internet any more. They are so Nixoned. So the fellows out of Santa Monaca where I did my intership and Brussels are keeping the Internet open for free discussion. The news you get from loved ones in the middle east is uncensored as are my postings.

Weap oh TP52 supporters. RC is speaking http://www.russellcoutts.net/RC44/PressRelease/. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. It is the death bell for the TP52 class. Note the flat - almost Mac26x bottom.

He's right-for once. We've sent too many good men to Iraq recently (to wars throughout history).

You're an idiot Frank. Nothing you have said about sailing has been right.

Note the pointy front end and squarish back end.... See comment above.

Until Frank admits that he is wrong. Maybe we should just leave him alone-if he's ignored, he'll have nothing to feed off of.

Frank, that is just about either the funniest, or the most delusional thing I think I've ever heard you say. Every once in a while you might get something right, but it is sort of like a broken clock, which shows the right time twice a day.

So Frank, when are you going to admit that you were banned from SA?

Update

We should have the SA forums up and rolling, perhaps tomorrow, certainly by Monday. We are proceeding thoroughly as we don't want this to happen again. Ignore the box requesting password info at the forum, it is a temporary security measure for Dawg and I, and it cannot be accessed yet. Be patient! - Ed
