Stop Frank, it's bad enough your ignorance continues to shine far brighter than your inability to comprehend basic English. It is time for you to stop speaking about Teeters, Farr, and TG all three of which you know nothing about. I like Barry as a person, and he did a hell of a job on the boat I own, but he's on his own when it comes to your demented idol worship. He hasn't had to put up with you over the past year like other people have.

Go sailing Migghie. Take your SO and do the Jack and Jill series. You can go NFS and nobody will care. Go do some benefit races. Seattle has 2 or 3 coming up soon. Do some social good. Last year TG offered to pay your entry fee for one of those, but you weasled out. I wouldn't expect that same offer, you don't deserve the kindness she has shown you. But I will pay your entry fee. I won't even ask to poke you in the eye for repayment. Just get out and get some experience. Contrary to what you think, sailing is not a spectator sport.

Uh...people aren't using your site as an educational resource, they are using it to help them understand you. Trace logs show that many of your visitors come from 66.63.128.89 aka sailinganarchy.com which has shat you out along time ago. Further, you have put "Sailing Anarchy" in your keywords, which is punishable by law. I see weirdos on the street every day who are dilusionally ranting to themselves. I can't help but stop and watch these type of people. This is similar to why people go to your site. If you'd like to find out if people are using your site for education, put a poll on the site. Make sure to include "because I think you're crazy" in the "why are you here question".

Folks want the truth. They find it here and on my weblog. Check out the transpac reports - The Cone of Silence 100 mile report note - This must be an error. What a show stealer. But did a J35 named Diablo also prove something?

I have no idea why you think Sailing Anarchy in keywords is punishable by law. See http://www.cybercrime.gov/. In anycase, the editor needs to contact me by mail 1260 NE 69th street Seattle Wa 98115, if he objects and I certainly will remove the keyword (truth be known - I didn't know about that). If he does contact me, I will know who to send a proposal to for the T shirts we want made up. Best I can tell the following is his artwork

Truth is that there is hardly a topic on Sailing Anarchy were someone doesn't eventually come up with - but what about a Mac26x or what do you think He whoes name will not be mentioned thinks about that? Or is this guy really Mighetto? Or Assman,... he really cracks me up. "I was banned from SA once but then I redeemed myself by pretending I was Mighetto".. It cracks me and my wife up constantly. Crank Boy is a love child of La Douch! Regarding Sailing Anarchy, I simply stopped posting there. There was a bet involved. I do see that someone claiming to be the editor is saying I was banned. After that July 4th post by the editor perhaps that is a kindness. Nonetheless, I am obviously missed. If those owning SA have a problem have them send in a demand by regular mail - it will be dealt with immediatly. But best I can tell, they like me We have a synergy that makes us greater than we would be without eachother.

Migholetto's other lie of the day: "The mast itself provides a dampening action and it was up during the incident." The mast makes a boat less stable, it does NOT provide a "dampening action" (unless you count the quick bath as an after-effect of capsize...)

Stop Frank, it's bad enough your ignorance continues to shine far brighter than your inability to comprehend basic English. It is time for you to stop speaking about Teeters, Farr, and TG all three of which you know nothing about.

What did I do to Farr?

I like Barry as a person, and he did a hell of a job on the boat I own, but he's on his own when it comes to your demented idol worship. He hasn't had to put up with you over the past year like other people have.

You sail a Farr 40?

Go sailing Migghie. Take your SO and do the Jack and Jill series.

Did that last year. My Opposition really made my wife feel welcome - Not

You can go NFS and nobody will care. Go do some benefit races. Seattle has 2 or 3 coming up soon. Do some social good.

Thats one advantage to belonging in PHRF - always a good race for social good.

Last year TG offered to pay your entry fee for one of those, but you weasled out. I wouldn't expect that same offer, you don't deserve the kindness she has shown you.

You just do not get it. Tripp Gal purposefully went after me because of my ride, continues to do so and has no business rating vessels in PHRF. Her orientation is to the big boats that US Sailing has abandoned and to fixed keels. Her, her boat, and her ways are not the future of sailing. She likely hates Farr 40s because she expects you to be in awe of her larger Tripp 47 and aspire to purchase her larger vessel and dispises you because you know better. Oh perhaps you own a Mumm 30. Same meal deal. You didn't hear her bad mouth her physician crew member who is now blamed for ripping the main during the Swiftsure. It was done with all the casualness of a Queen chatting about her servants.

But I will pay your entry fee. I won't even ask to poke you in the eye for repayment. Just get out and get some experience. Contrary to what you think, sailing is not a spectator sport.

I will be out Wednesday. BTW, there were 8 boats at the SSSS McMickan Cruise. Gray Seal and String Thing did real racing to the cruise in. In PHRF, we play a race game and this is made clear in the Racing Rules of Sailing. It is not racing. The game involves boat design, course design, design rules, and racing rules. It should not be played in the Board Room. Tripp Gal did that. If she is an Opera fan, I will see her at the Ring. Perhaps we will shake hands again. But my wife will have none of her.

Then why remove it? Teeters presented a video during the trial. The mast was removed before the boat was made to capsize. Explain the why of that.

Yet another lie from sir spam alot ....
Its a lie from Sailing Anarchy then. Check them out. The notion is that a TP52 that cost 1.5 milion is worth 200,000 a year later. The fact that anyone chats about these boats is directly related to Russel Coutts and Kahn. Do you really disagree. Didn't an SC70 (Skylark?) beat several TP52s in the Transpac? Rumor perhaps.

What they find on your web log are the inane ramblings of and individual, who if we are to believe you mean what you say, is a danger to navigation anytime he unties from the dock.

Boy are you late to that game. Mr Dangerous, I have been called.

What they find here is your lies and the corrections made by people who care about the sport of sailing.

What they find here is critical review of the kind that profesional naval archetects should be doing more of.

Stop the lies - every time anyone sees a lie posted by Frank please correct.

Yes but stop saying I lie. Instead ask for my source. But don't be surprised to find they are all reputable.

Hopefully this will reduce the potential for harm when viewed by those actually seeking knowledge.

We are only harmed by THE CONE OF SILENCE. - Get Smart. Damn, I don't even make this stuff up. It just happens. Wake up. The next 10 years will be the most prolific and exciting times for a monohul sailboat designer in the history of sailing.

So that he could not be accused of cheating.

TP 52 Defender

Frank time and again I (and others here) have posted facts & citations that disprove your claims (source aside). You then continue to post the same disproved claims - that makes the lie yours. So once again I will stop saying you lie when / if you stop lying.

Never quote a source without verifying the truth - example the sale price of a TP 52. FYI - Rosebud won - good job to Rodger and crew .....

What? Not Pegasus? Not Kahn. Well that blows chunks. Clearly reasearch is necessary. Oh my.. look at this spin on transpacific.org

"So Transpac's big winners duplicated last year's Newport-Bermuda Race when Hasso Plattner's maxZ86 Morning Glory was first to finish in record time, as it won the Barn Door here, and Rosebud won overall---the latter a rare double in America's premier ocean races believed to be last achieved by Dorade in the 1930s."

argh - here is the truth, truth seakers.

The Dorade, a 52 foot yawl designed by Olin Stephens, and the Santa Cruise 70 are two of only 4 vessels to be first to finish, first in class and first overall in the Transpac, a race to Hawaii that has been run regularly since 1906.

The Dorade win in 1936 made Olin and Rod Stephens unusual designs legendary world wide. The win was a tripple and not a double - argh argh argh. believed-to-be me arse. Purposeful disinformation me thinks.

You should have taken the easy way out and apologized or answered the question of the day, you might have learned something. Frank I get to race at the leading edge of the sport

Ha Ha - Quote from J MacKee - "I like to stay at the leading edge of the sport - which today means canting keels". Sorry TP52s are not leading edge. You have not been paying attention. It is folks like you who would take young potentials off of Tasars, Mac26x cruisers, and yes even I-14s, put them on Tripp 47s and ruin thier sailing careers by feeding them full of Bravo Sierra. Today's potential is better off as an autodidact. The new designs are just that revolutionary. You wouldn't take a COBOL guru and have him teach the newbe JAVA would you?

(For which I feel extremely grateful) be it on the 14 or the TP52 (or any number of others) - you need to figure out that you don't know much about the sport or about boats.

What I want you to figure out is that that there has been a regression in sail boat design owing to IMS, and IOR. And I want you to see that the Costa Mesa built vessels (Cal 40s) deserve a re-look. Lift the Cone of Silence. Then I want you to connect the dots. Mac25x vessels are also Costa Mesa clan.

Russel Coutts opinion is highly valued. Lets see what he has to say about TP52s. If the comments are favorable, I will have to re-assess. But it still appears to me that the TP52 is a vessel for land lubbers - those who do not skip aloft and fly but stay for ever below below below and are destined for a career in power boating or golf.

What a huge raft up at duck dodge last night. Impressed my wife no end, though she still prefers the private island of Murrelet.

The TransAt was in 1930 not 1936 but thanks for paying attention. It is a confusing spin. Did Lee race on Merlin? There are so many great stories from this transpac to look forward to.

That will be a spin. The BIG story and it is HUGE is that Genuine Risk and Morning Glory both broke the course record of 7 days 11 hours and both movable ballasted machines have similar lines. GR is Dubois, Morning Glory is Reichel Pugh. Show steeling 30 foot canter Cone of Silence is also Reichel Pugh, see http://www.sailinganarchy.com/opinion/2005/cando.htm. So is the TP52 Rosebud. ITS A CLEAN SWEEP for Reichel Pugh. They should be hoisting a broom at the company offices.

Take notice - The Man, The Myth, The Legond, He Whos Name Should Not Be Spoken (HWNSNBS), editor of that madman's weblog - the cruising log of Murrelet is the first to connect this. Lets see a story now. It might as well be told on boatdesign.net.

ok, you must have never seen MG or GR to say they have similar lines. MG is a MaxZ86 that could be considered by some peoples perspectives to look like a scaled up TP 52 with a canting keel. This boat is most powerful while reaching and is not as narrow as other canters.

GR on the other hand is bigger, and most obviously MUCH narrower for her length. that is why she did not do well in the transpac, because she is so narrow.

Defender, I think you know that Mr. Coutts is curently part of the Lexus/DeVos TP52 Team.

Here are Russel's own comments on the TP 52, from his website www.russellcoutts.net:

The Transpac 52 series hasn’t stopped developing ever since its launch in 2001. These lively 16-metre monohulls provided very close racing in Punta Ala – a fact which shows the rules are working well.

The rules for this class are tight and simple (the approval of 80% of owners is needed to change the class rules) and limit racing to owners/members. With their very similar performance, these boats are attracting many top professional sailors who can compete head-to-head on short course circuits and also coastal racing courses.

Russell, Roberto Bermúdez de Castro, Vasco Vascotto, Paul Cayard, Mark Reynolds, Tomasso Chieffi, Ross McDonald, Carl Buchan and Dee Smith fought it out for this first round of the new Breitling MEDCUP circuit 2005..

..“The TP52 is a fantastic class, and the level of competition is very high, which is terrific..

..I really like the fact that the class is such a development class..

..Overall the class is a success story and is producing great racing that is much more fun than racing under the IMS system. We are looking forward to the next round of the Breitling MEDCUP in Valencia, because we will have more time to be better prepared. These races are really absorbing – you pay dearly for every error and it’s competitive right up to the finish line!”

So it’s a date then for the Trofeo S.M. La Reina in Valencia, from 29 June to 3 July.

Russell Coutts, 5 June 2005

My question was to Wank as to why RC's opion counted more than these other fine yachtsmen.

Wank, that must be me Coutts counts because Coutts will speak (against owners and officials). He also counts because of the Koch Cup. July 23-29, 2006 Miami. This is the event that best I can tell was claimed to be in violation with his America's Cup contract. In September I hope to be with my fellow National Quartermaster Association members http://www.nqma.org/ where there will be qualifying events. If any are interested in a branch of the NQMA for the Pacific Northwest - let me know. I know CYC Seattle's scout boat has interest. If they can just stay away from Tripp Gal and the WindSeakers

Oh - press in 48 north. It is not what I do but what I will be doing.

Wank Mighetto
SSSS Murrelet
SSS Northland, Ship 52
Our best today for a better tomorrow.

So RC likes um. Thats good enough for me. Lets put a wrap on this thread and go sailing.
