TOHATSU outboard?

Maybe some folks out there can answer this question for me. I am looking into buying the Tohatsu 3.5 Fwd-Ntrl Gear Model, I am looking for a high-quality motor thats not to expensive. ANd this one seemed to satisfy me. I am interested in what pros and cons go along with this motor? Is it optimal for use on a 9-foot West Marine Hard Bottom Inflatable Dinghy to be used in the San Juan Islands and surronding coastal area.

Any remarks or comments would be great

They are very good engines. Nissan and Mercury sell them under their label.
