Shiptionary

Since I have come to these forums, everyone has sensed how new I am to all this and has speared me the boat terms they all know I won't understand, but I NEEEDDDD to understand the terms so I am trying to put together a "shiptionary". I appreciate any asssistance with this.

I googled "nautical terms" and found a glossary at www.boatsafe.com. There are others that came up to.

Hopefully that will help. The back of Chapman's and similar books have decent gllossaies also.
