Saroca boats

I have been considering purchasing a mini sail boat and I'd love to get your opinions: A private owner is offering a used Saroca with a nice trailer which I can likely purchase for a thousand dollars, plus the trade of an old and somewhat weathered Sailfish which I have sitting around. The Sailfish was abandoned by my brother after some neglect. I worked on it and it is relatively clean and operational. It is a little unstable for my tastes and ability, and has absolutely no room for any stowage. Those issues, added to the fact that I have no trailer or roof mount to transport it, make the Sailfish ill-suited to me.
