sail forces, how to calculate

I am looking fo a methot to calculate the sail forces. I have seen the HEZEN model in principles of YD. This method doies not seem very accurate. does anybody know a more acurate method to estimate the sail forces based on the data that can be derived from the sails plan??

does any body have experience with the HEZEN method? How accurate can it be? are there any additions to this method to make it more accurate?

Please Help!!
