Please identify this boat Earlier this week a sailboat was photographed on road transport en route to the Southampton Boat Show (it was travelling from the coast of East Anglia). I am interested to find out more about it and would appreciate anyone identifying it for me: ![]()

Hmm, it looks to me like a 50ft+ fat cruiser, traditional design. Can't see enough of the side profile to be sure, but the two blue lines on the hull and the thinner line at porthole height ought to give us a clue. Is it an Oyster? Something like this ... http://www.oystermarine.com/#id=27&ref=boat

Almost certainly an Oyster, the transport company is based a few miles from where the hulls are moulded.Possibly on its way to their yard on the South coast for completion.

Thank you, I think it could well be an Oyster; the stripes certainly fit, however the upper portholes do not. Oyster is based in Ipswich, so the location certainly fits.

Actually, I think it is the Oyster 82, which seems to have been made with differing porthole configurations: ![]()
