| peterson 25 Hi all, happy new year. I recently bought a peterson 25ft sailboat. She should have been built in poland by the year 1984. I'm seeking for more informations about this boat type. Does anyone know a peterson 25 owner? I'm looking for design/building or any documents about this boat. Actually I'm living in Martinique Island where local authorities ask me for european certification of confomity. Thank you for your help. And sorry for my poor english |

It was produced in large numbers by Navimor in Poland. There are large fleets of them in Russia. It is known in Europe as the Conrad 760, so maybe you can find some documentation under that name. One example named Tom Bombadil (picture attached) won the Quarter Ton Cup in the UK two years ago. |

However, the hulls, keels, rudders, and rigs were the same for both racing and racer/cruiser versions. Of course there could have been some other customized versions over the years, but I think the hulls at least would never have changed. |

| We have about 8-10 of these in Lithuania. As I know they were made in 3 versions: Racer Racer/cruiser with same rig as racer but diferent deck layout. Cruiser - had shorter masthead riging desck as racer cruiser. I don't think that any of the documents are available nowdays. |

| Here is an IOR certificate from one of the Russian Conrad 25 (Peterson 25). Source: http://25ft.org/Measurement/ Maybe you can satisfy your local authorities with the boat type being qualified for offshore racing by ISAF/ORC! |

Where is she in SD? What club do you sail out of? Have you checked out the Quarter Tonner thread on this forum? Some good info about the old QTs there. You should go post your photos there. |

The hull shape and flush deck tend to indicate your boat is not from 1980. It is the shape of the original QT design by Peterson. So if it is not the original Tickled Pink it is a sistership. There is a builders plate on the upper starboard corner of the stern. What does it say? |

| Peterson 25'3" ior 1/4 ton racer The name was Tickled Pink Again Now named... Tack Angle. I shuffled the letters around and came up with that. ![]() I purchased it from a fella in Dallas Texas. Where was Tickled Pink sailed from? I'll have to look at the hull again to be 100% sure, but I have a title with 1980 as the build date. |

The dates on titles mean nothing. When you get a new title for a boat or trailer that has been lapsed for years you can put almost anything on the paperwork. The builder's mark on the transom will tell the real story. |

| Peterson 25'3" ior 1/4 ton racer Very interesting! I'll check out the hull when I go out the next time. Where did you find the info on TP? Good memory? Race history? Thanks! |
