Need Some directions can you help?

I just Bought a Oday Sprite 10ft dinghey It needs some help though!
I would like to paint it inside and out But am not sure of the best paint to use
on either. I polised the mast and boom they came out great but am not 100%
on where all the lines are supposed to be run? Can you give me any tips, websites or books to help me? I race on a 33 C&C but am unfirmiler with dinghies and want to learn more
