multi element foil sections?

I am looking for multi element foil section coordinates, measurements/predictions - I find lots of nice pics and graphs of CL 4-5 but no coords...
especially low Reynolds sections would be interesting.

Get a copy of Profili (shareware) and see what they've got.

JavaFoil can generate a whole range of foil profiles and these can be scaled and shifted into multi-element configurations per attached. Just google JavaFoil and run the Applet. If you know a little about foils you should be able to get useful results from it.

that was fun. The NACA generator was cool too.

is there a NACA generator that you can dial in a NACA number and play with it and the generator will give drag and lift per square foot.

Some NACA are suggested to be low drag but what. All foils have drag but the trick is to get the drag within your power supply and give lift to reduse wetted area. This should result in better performance.

I am designing some ,--I call winglets to fit under the two hulls ,--not all the way across as a Hysucat.

I intend to make these by eye and hand out of 1 inch ply and expoxy them up to the hull after the bulbous bows.

If they work I will improve on design and materials.

I'm no expert but I hear some shapes are more demanding wrt accuracy and dirt. (The NACA 4digit section are supposed to be forgiving I think?)

Javafoil generates NACA, and analyses it. You can also adjust the level of dirt and bugs (doesn't say which bugs) in the simulation.

Profili I found useful as a database to look at and export sections, the analysis are there but you have to pay the pro version to use it.
