I don't see them using Veal Heel at any point in the video. Does that mean they were mostly just reaching, or is there some other reason that they just don't do it?

Doug, I think it's mostly reaching. I used to have pictures of them doing Veal Heal before my machine died.
Did you see the pictures here of the boat fitted with a couple of ama's "for training"?
