| max -prop Hello Wonder if anybody can help me. I have a Yanmar GM30 with saildrive. I've just bought 16" max-prop. Does anybody know the correct pitch set up for this engine/prop configuration. Engine achieves 3600 rpm but I believe this drops to 3200 with saildrive leg fitted. I believe correct pitch is around 18 degrees but if anybody has the same set up and has experimented with different pitch settings I would welcome any advice that they could give me. Thanks. |

| I think it'd be whatever gives you the engine manufacturer's recommended RPM when the throttle is wide open. If you have a question about what this is you should contact a Yanmar factory technician. |
