Lynx 14 or 16 trailersailer

Recently we discovered this website about sailing and the Lynx trailersailer and am pleased to find this forum.
Currently I am building a Lynx 16 and I am wondering how she would be sailing, but more importantly if I should fit her with steel or wooden centerboards. This trailersailer is designed to sail with two centerboards and water ballast. Will this be enough weight to sail at sea? Who has (some) experience with this small boat?
