Is Laser Performance taking on water?

All:

Rumors are being whispered over at Sailing Anarchy's dinghy anarchy forum regarding serious product delivery problems from Laser Performance. The good folks (Laser Performance / Gavel Investments) from jolly old England bought Vanguard a couple years ago, and since things have gone downhill from all reports.

I have no doubt the Laser brand is strong, and the North American market is willing to pay for it, but there may be a period of confusion coming up where the people in between the public and the boats change names.

Has anyone heard anything?
