Lacoste sailboats, anyone with info?

I'm looking into buying a Lacoste 42 sailboat. They were commissioned by the Lacoste company, designed by Sparkmann & Stephens and built by Yachting France in the mid-80's.
Anyone know of them?
Nagging question: we're they built with a hull to deck joint/toe rail held with rivets or bolt/nut combination?
I had a look and almost certain it's held togother with rivets.
Now, question would be is the use of rivets a plus or a minus fir the hull/deck joint?

Danny
