I was wondering if there is any data or experience regarding fin keels cyclically hooking up and stalling as a result of vessel's roll so as to perpetuate a roll; working like a clock escapement does?

Any public data on how roll affects keel performance (or vice versa).

Isn't this what happens when a canter runs out of fuel?
