    Hi,

I am beginning my sailboat design studies and one thing that always puzzled me is how the keel/ballast is structurally attached to the hull in a sailboat in order to survive all the forces that act upon her.
Are there any youtube videos/papers that cover the subject?

    Thanks/Regards

You could search the web and study the several different keel attachments. There are hundreds of types. Look at images.
